With the arrival of many foreign tourists in Japan, “ experiential consumption” to experience Japan is on the rise. Japan‘s world-class “MANGA” experience is no exception to this trend, and Nihon Manga Juku has received an increasing number of inquiries from overseas visitors who want to experience manga.
Therefore, the Nihon Manga Juku has launched the "MANGA Experience Program" for inbound visitors to Japan from 2023, so that overseas tourists can have a meaningful time in Japan.
Two experience program menu options
Nihon Manga Juku prepares a light version experience for inbound travelers that allows them to experience practical manga illustration in two hours a day, and a premium version experience that takes a full day (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) to complete a manga.

| Lesson Content | Based on a story (up to 8 pages) that the participants have thought of, they will work together with a production crew (assistants) at Nihon Manga Juku to create a manga booklet in one day, from naming, to drawing, to finishing. What is Nihon Manga Juku?
Nihon Manga Juku was established as the first school in Japan to specialize in teaching only manga.
Nihon Manga Juku was established in April 2000 as Japan's first Manga school specializing in teaching only Manga, "breaking out of the shell of conventional Manga education".
The school aims to produce "long-lasting manga artists" who can contribute to the next generation of the manga industry through a curriculum to improve manga skills and abundant teaching materials, including instructors who are mainly professional manga artists.
At Nihon Manga Juku, the "Tokiwaso of the 21st century," we will strive to create an environment where highly conscious and talented students who aspire to become manga artists can stimulate each other and engage in friendly competition on a daily basis to become long-time serial manga artists.
The instructor will provide instruction, video materials on how to draw manga, and over 600 assignments to date. We offer a variety of instructional styles, including face-to-face and online. We provide manga education that matches the knowledge and skills of each student.
